Palestinians tortured to death in an Arab prison have also been ignored by Western media. Likewise the EU and the UN, which called for an investigation into the death of Abu Ein — who died of a heart attack while in a confrontation with an Israeli soldier — deemed it unnecessary to tackle the treatment of Palestinians being killed and tortured to death in Syria and many other Arab countries.
It seems the Palestinian Authority is unconcerned — as is the media, the EU, the UN and human rights groups like AI and Save the Children. The only “war crimes” they are interested in are being committed by Israelis, and not by Arabs who are killing, torturing and driving out tens of thousands of Palestinians. This is happening while the international community and media continue to obsess exclusively with anything connected to Israel.
